7. Always check what matters.

You do not have to fact-check every sentence. But if you are going to act on something — share it, send it, make a decision based on it — take a minute to verify.

A simple habit: Before you use a chatbot's answer for anything important, ask yourself: "Would I be comfortable if this turned out to be wrong?" If not, check it.

Ways to check: search for it yourself, look at an official source, or ask the chatbot "Are you sure? Can you show me where that comes from?" (It may still be wrong, but the answer can give you something to look up.)
